Two years ago, I started having dreams about the growing division between everyday working people in our nation. I perceived by the Holy Spirit that it would get worse and could lead to a civil war, so on August 12, 2024, I asked everyone on our First 15 Prayer call that morning to join me in interceding against it. Recently though, while working on another assignment, the Holy Spirit highlighted civil war to me again and I wrote it in my journal. But I must confess that I can be guilty at times of assuming that the Lord doesn't want me to share prophetic words that He gives me until a few weeks (even months) have passed. However, I'm starting to realize that our solemn assemblies must be stewarded with speed in these last and evil days.
"But the children of Belial said, 'How shall this man save us? And they despised him, and brought him no presents. But he held his peace.'" - 1 Samuel 10:37
Belial is a Hebrew phrase that means "without profit, worthlessness; destruction, wickedness" and is frequently mentioned in the Bible. These same children of Belial are stirring up Americans now in hopes of starting a civil war in the USA that would accelerate and establish the anti-Christ system in the world (read the word of the Lord about Nations here). While the motives for participating in this rebellion vary from group to group, it's all connected to Satan's objective to kill, steal, and destroy (John 10:10) and we must use the word of God as our weapon and push back against evil with our prayers and intercession.
We stand in the midst until it's finished.
That's the revelation I received while reading Joshua 4:10 last month, which I share today as a reminder that the Lord has commissioned Praying Is a Lifestyle to stand in the midst of local, national, and global matters as intercessors until the assignment He has given to us is finished. We're not bystanders who watch the pot boil over before we cry out to the Father for help. We are the Joshuas of this generation who take territory for the kingdom of God in the name of Jesus Christ. So, if anything I've said aligns with what the Lord has revealed to you or maybe you want to learn more about these things within a faithful community of believers, then sign up to pray with us at our next assembly on Zoom by following the instructions below.
