This is war.
This word that the Holy Spirit shared with me a few weeks ago was a much-need reminder that God is holy and He is righteous and He is the judge (Psalm 75). And there comes a point in time where we all must face the Judge for the things that we refuse to repent for, including the people that we fail to apologize to as if they can't go to God about us too (Matthew 5:21-26).
The truth is we lost the fear of God within the American church but as God brings the darkness to light, the fear of the LORD will return to His people and so will His glory (Isaiah 42:8). In the meantime, be prepared for a dismantling of wicked systems and an ongoing exposure of individuals & groups who have conspired to keep God's people deceived and disillusioned (Luke 8:17). It won't be pretty and it will feel heavy at times but know that it is the LORD's doing.
"Now there was a long war between the house of Saul and the house of David. But David grew stronger and stronger, and the house of Saul grew weaker and weaker." - 2 Samuel 3:1
Your next steps are to allow the Holy Spirit to renew your mind concerning what you thought you knew based on your upbringing, personal experiences, and religious conditioning. It's time to get clear on who you serve: Jesus Christ or your flesh. Most importantly, it's time to repent because you're going to need it for the journey that the LORD is sending us on. I told you last year that judgement was coming. It's here.
