It's time to pray

I know we all have our own stuff going on. Some folks are busier than others in this season but each of us have responsibilities nonetheless. Still, I am asking you to increase your capacity this month to include some additional days of prayer & fasting each week, especially if you live in the USA.

I know some of you might be tired of hearing me say this but judgement is coming and judgement is here, and it's time for us to lift up our voices and pray for an atonement for this nation. To simply ignore what is happening in this country or pretend that you haven't heard the warnings from your brothers & sisters in Christ is downright foolish and will ultimately hurt you and the people connected to you in the end.

We need to pray.

We need to fast.

We need to intercede on behalf of the USA and ask the LORD to protect us from those that are determined to cause chaos and confusion in the days to come.

Some of you might be thinking, "this is not the type of Christianity that I signed up for" but I can assure you that trials & tribulations are Biblical and so is God's judgement. I think we can all agree that the USA has become a nation that delights in being puffed up with pride and unfortunately, many of the churches here have mixed the sacred with the profane. Although the LORD is merciful, He is just and this nation's record has come up before Him and the just thing to do is render judgement for our works.

"Behold, God will not cast away the blameless, nor will He uphold the evildoers. He will yet fill your mouth with laughing, and your lips with rejoicing." - Job 8:20-21

Thankfully, God is giving us a chance to wake up from our slumber and to align our hearts & lives with what He says is righteous. You've been saved by Jesus for a time such as this and you must use your voice to help others receive the gift of salvation too. Everyone in the kingdom of Heaven has an assignment and if you want to be effective in what the Father has called you to do, then you must be a living sacrifice for the LORD our God, holy and acceptable in His sight (Romans 12:1). Get in position, open your mouth, and turn down your plate. Your sound is your weapon and God's word is your sword.
