Part of the journey is the end

Part of the journey is the end

When I said yes to obeying the LORD no matter the cost going into 2022, I honestly had no idea what He would require me to do and sacrifice. That January, the LORD confirmed for me in my shower that He wanted me to lead my cohort of college friends in a 9-week study of 1 Samuel. As exciting as this assignment was, it would cost me my pride immediately. In case you don't know the backstory, my friends and I were in the process of trying to move past years of deeply rooted pain that we had unintentionally caused one another over the years and recently had a semi-successful Google Duo call to hash things out earlier that month. Nonetheless, the Holy Spirit was adamant that I do it and required me to call each woman and invite her to the Bible Study.

Within the first few weeks, we all knew that something special was happening on our weekly Zoom calls. Not only was the LORD repairing the bonds that had broken between my friends and I, but we were genuinely growing in our faith, which led me to invite them to join me in fasting with Covered by God Ministries for the first 3 days of March '22. I decided to host a 6:00am prayer call each day of the fast in an effort to encourage them to stay the course. However, after the fast was over, I knew in my heart that the prayer call shouldn't end, which I had called First 15 based on the idea of giving God the first 15 minutes of our day. I called another friend in our Bible Study and asked her if she would be willing to help lead our prayer call twice a week; me on Mondays and her on Fridays. Thankfully, she agreed and later that month, we added Tuesdays in honor of The Year of the Bride Fast based on the prophetic word released by Prophetess Tiphani Montgomery.

I am happy to report that PIAL quickly grew beyond just serving my close friends and we began teaching the gospel of Jesus Christ to men, women, and children living all along the east coast as well as California and Texas on our weekly ministry calls. Since February 1, 2022, we have hosted approximately 628 prayer calls and 236 Bible Study sessions with occasional assistance from our friends at Meditational Moment and TurningPoint Transitions. And it is with joy and thanksgiving in my heart that I announce that effective June 6, 2025, both of these ministry calls have officially come to an end but wait, there's more.

PIAL has been promoted to a gate for intercessors to come together on one accord in Christ Jesus and make intercession for the people, places, and things that the Spirit of God commands us to. We already have a plethora of testimonies about people's minds being renewed, bodies being healed, and souls being restored due to the presence of God in our ministry proving that we not only bear fruit for the kingdom of God, but that the LORD attends unto our prayers. So, although we will no longer gather weekly, I hope you will stay connected via text and consider joining us at any future sessions of prayer & fasting that we host.

Let God be the God of your transition.

With that said, thank you so much for allowing me to serve y'all each week for the past 3+ years. If I've ever offended you or hurt you in any way, I sincerely apologize. Please know that my journey of obedience to God includes daily repentance. My life's objective is to help people bloom in their relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and I hope that you and your family have been positively impacted by the fruits of this gate.

"For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister. And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end: that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises." - Hebrews 6:10-12

God bless.
