I knew coming into this quarter of the year that I would have to proceed in endurance in a way that would require even more of God and a lot less of me. However, this month in particular has been more challenging than I care to admit and forced me to get out of my head and to stay in the Spirit.
To be honest, it hasn't been easy and I've just come to the realization that it wasn't supposed to be. After all, God is doing things that only He can get the glory for. Plus, the more I seek Him, the more confident I am in something that the Holy Spirit whispered to me recently...
You don't need a lot.
Not a lot of people.
Not a lot of shouting.
Not a lot of words.
Just your faith in Jesus together with the Holy Spirit who bears witness to Him is enough to establish peace, joy, and whatever else you're seeking the Father for. This is how you endure. This is how you proceed. This is how you bear good fruit for the kingdom of heaven. So, keep running your race not necessarily fast but in faith. God sees you and He will certainly reward you for your labor.
"Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God." - Hebrews 12:1-2
