I agree with who and what the LORD is uprooting. I agree with who and what He's redeeming. I agree with His judgement on a matter because nothing is hidden from His sight and I have no interest in standing in His way.
Listen, I witnessed the faithfulness of the Father this year that required me to let go of pride masked as privacy and fear masked as righteous judgement. I had to come to terms with the reality that my flesh is 100% untrustworthy and that fixing my eyes on Jesus is worth all my time, energy, and devotion. And guess what? I feel good and it shows (literally!).
Does this mean that I have it all figured out? Nope.
Am I still praying like my life depends on it? Yup.
Will I still cry aloud and spare not that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life? Absolutely!
Because I agree with God and ain't no way I'm going to allow bitterness, idolatry, or unforgiveness prevent me from hearing Jesus say, "Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord" (Matthew 25:23). Plus, I am committed to using my gifts & talents to help make disciples in Jesus' name and although how we go about this looks slightly different for each of us, saving souls for the kingdom of heaven should be the primary objective for all of us.
"Remember Lot's wife." - Luke 17:32
Yeah, that Lot. The one that Abraham made intercession for when God rendered judgement on Sodom and Gomorrah in Genesis 19. The Lord Jesus repeated what He said in Luke 17:32 to me at a time when I was looking back at the lowest point in my life and was tempted to dwell there in my mind. Then He told me to...
Look ahead.
And because I agree with God, that's exactly what I'm doing. What God had to utterly destroy to preserve my mind, body, and spirit is none of my business anymore and I'm choosing to look ahead at the new thing He's doing (Isaiah 43:19). God sorted it out and the blood of Jesus Christ settled the matter and this can be true for you too if you decide right now to stop replaying the sins of your past and entertaining your former idols. It's time to move on and go in the direction that Jesus is leading you in. God desires to save you. The blood of Jesus Christ has redeemed you but you must purpose in your heart to agree with God even if your obedience offends some of the people you like and love.
I don't know what your goals & plans are for 2026 but my prayer is that the LORD will continue to bless you and keep you and that you won't be deceived. Be vigilant! There are lots of false gods out here masquerading as religion, ministry, and businesses. Pray about everything. Trust the Father in all things and remember to write down your dreams & visions even if you barely remember the details. God doesn't waste words and He is not a man that He should lie (Numbers 23:19). Some of those things that He showed you are about to come to pass. Prepare your heart. Glory is coming.
